Safety Bulletin #1 - PLEASE READ

Attention all researchers:

It has come to our attention that some of you have taken an unusually enthusiastic interest in the subject of human sexuality.

While intellectual curiosity is encouraged, please remember that “field research” does not authorize personal experimentation.

All personnel are expected to observe applicable consent standards, age restrictions, privacy rules, local laws, biological safety protocols, and professional boundaries at all times.

Researchers are specifically reminded that:

  • Curiosity is not consent.

  • Scientific interest is not a waiver of local law.

  • “I was studying human culture” is not an acceptable explanation in an incident report.

  • Unknown inter-species biological compatibility should not be tested informally.

  • Humans may regard sexual matters as private even when the underlying behavior is common.

  • Any research involving intimate topics must remain respectful, voluntary, and properly authorized.

Please review Bulletin #1 in full before conducting further research involving human sexuality, pornography, private behavior, or related cultural practices.

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in removal from field duties, mandatory ethics retraining, biological quarantine, diplomatic complications, or an extremely uncomfortable meeting with Research Administration.

Thank you for your cooperation.
